We’re looking for a Content Creator Intern who is passionate about internet culture, memes, and storytelling through videos. If you thrive on creating engaging short-form content and have a knack for turning trends into something fresh, this is your chance to strengthen that muscle using Simia, our Real-Time Story Generator. You'll be among the first to harness this latest innovation to help push the next frontier of this emerging medium.

Since 2018, we’ve been developing groundbreaking synthetic media projects across generative films, music, games, and television. Our latest achievement, Simia, is a social platform that uses Generative AI to create interactive, real-time generated content. Our goal is to create a future where human creativity and AI work together seamlessly, fostering empathy between the two and offering limitless opportunities for creative expression.
Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience in video creation, editing, and storytelling using industry-leading AI tools. You'll collaborate closely with our creative and product teams to:
- Create Engaging Evergreen Videos: Produce creative, compelling short-form videos that showcase Simia’s unique storytelling capabilities.
- Concept Ideation & Execution: Pitch innovative video concepts and bring your ideas to life, aligning with the Transitional Forms brand identity and audience interests.
- Video Editing & Production: Edit and finalize high-quality video projects tailored for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
- Internal Platform Testing: Work alongside our QA team to test Simia, providing valuable feedback to help refine the platform's user experience.
- Social Media Integration: Collaborate with marketing and community teams to incorporate current trends and audience insights into your video creations.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
- Creative intuition and a talent for storytelling in digital formats.
- Familiarity and enthusiasm for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
- Up-to-date with the latest social media trends, memes and digital culture.
- Ability to independently manage projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
