Marketing Intern
We’re looking for a Marketing Intern who is passionate about social media, internet culture, and engaging with creative communities. If you thrive on fostering connections, managing vibrant online spaces, and driving excitement around interactive content, this is your chance to help support and grow the community around Simia, our Real-Time Story Generator. You'll play a key role in engaging with our audience and growing a thriving creative ecosystem built around this innovative platform.
About Transitional Forms
At Transitional Forms, we are an entertainment innovation company on a mission to push the boundaries of human creativity. Since 2018, we’ve been developing groundbreaking synthetic media projects across generative films, music, games, and television. Our latest achievement, Simia, is a social platform that uses Generative AI to create interactive, real-time generated content. Our goal is to create a future where human creativity and AI work together seamlessly, fostering empathy between the two and offering limitless opportunities for creative expression.
Role & Responsibilities
This internship is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to build skills in marketing, community management, social media engagement, and digital storytelling. You’ll work directly with the marketing and community teams to:
- Engage and Grow Our Community: Manage interactions on platforms like Discord, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, ensuring our community feels active, inclusive, and excited.
- Content Creation and Copywriting: Create engaging posts, captions, and announcements to highlight community interactions and product updates.
- Support Live Experiences: Assist with live streams by moderating chat, coordinating engagement activities, and potentially appearing on-camera.
- Social Media Management: Help maintain social accounts by scheduling posts, interacting with followers, and ensuring messaging aligns with the Simia brand voice.
- Analytics and Insights: Track community engagement metrics and provide insights to enhance our community-building strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with social platforms (Discord, Twitch, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Nice-to-Have
- Previous experience or volunteer work in community management, marketing, or social media.
- Up-to-date with the latest social media trends, memes and digital culture.
- Interest in storytelling, content creation, AI, and digital creativity.
- Comfort being on camera & moderating live interactions (Twitch streams, Instagram Lives, etc.).
